Emily Handslip, Urban Splash Director said: " We’re kicking off the next two months of exciting events at Royal William Yard this weekend with the Good Food market and to give visitors more flexibility we’ve adapted the parking tariff so they can now pay by the hour. We hope this change will encourage people to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy everything the yard has to offer.”

The Royal William Yard team have listened carefully to the feedback received from stakeholders within the Yard as well as the public, visitors and users of the Yard. The proposed parking changes are being implemented with the sole intention of increasing flexibility around the purchase of parking and making it more convenient for all visitors to the Yard (including resident’s visitors) to stay the length of time they wish on an hourly basis and not have to worry about clock watching to avoid the previous jump in tariff from 2 to 5 hours.

We hope this will make The Yard an even more enjoyable place to work, live, visit, relax - and provide a brilliant excuse to visit the Good Food Market this Sunday."
